thanks for letting me know, we can use all the help we can get to spruce up the place for the Muddy Waters annual new years event. Hope lots of people will show up and we can make a clean sweep of the place all in one day. Yard tools are welcome as well as any equipment that someone may think will help the effort. the new years event will be GREAT FUN, and a memorable way to ring in the new year for all who show.
Thanks again for all who show their support to the club and Camp Youtaw.

ok, if you were at the meeting on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, then you know we are going to do the traditional new years event out there.
so with that said, there will be a one day camp clean up on Saturday, December 12. any and all yard tools and equipment are welcome. everyone who uses camp youtaw needs to pitch in and give a hand to clean the underbrush and trim branches and get the place nice and refreshed so that it looks like a PARK when we go in for the new years event.
A formal survey was done on the property and two new corners have been established, enlarging the land for camping inside Camp Youtaw substantially.
When we have enough people go in and do a sweeping clean up of the grounds and branches, the place becomes a magnificient place to camp and feel totally safe.
So please mark your calendars and come out for the December 12 clean up.

I will try to make the meeting tomorrow evening, but we are taking our Grandaughter to the VC fair tomorrow. She may wear us out.
In the event I don't make it I would like to recommend a club ride at Southern Ridge, Dozier AL in Feb. We are having Family and Friends weekend 19-21 and would be happy to have Muddy Waters join us. They will attempt to ensure you are all together this time. However, in order to do that they will need RV slot reservations ASAP. They will also do a better job of controlling any rowdy ones.
RV spots are $35/night and it will be $25/person for the weekend. The good thing about going for Family & friends weekend is we usually take a night ride on our hunting lease property which is mostly across the river. Pretty good swamp on that property.
Toss my recommendation around and let me know the verdict.
